The Gilded House is synonymous with House Kimura, a Vaelune noble family known for their wealth, and having their fingers in many different "ventures". Over centuries, this minor noble house built itself up by being savvy merchants, diplomats, and politicians to greater houses, forming lasting bonds and unions that consecrated their bloodline. But what made them truly influential wasn’t their nobility, but the many ventures they invested in. Be it trade, taverns, or exploration, their successful ventures built them into a Gilded House.

While current generations have squandered the name, the house and its ventures seek anew. In a new world destined for opportunity & strife, the Gilded House stands together, unified as one.

The Gilded House caters to a variety of different roleplayers. New and veteran roleplayers alike can find a home here with each of our pillars offering a different depth of story. We have recurring events centered around each pillar, allowing new members to introduce their characters and get acquainted with membership. In addition, we strive to schedule events based on members' schedules, allowing for increased participation.

Players will have an active role in shaping the community as will their characters. Players can join any pillar that fits their character, attain any role and get promoted or removed. Regardless of your experience, opportunity awaits you in GH-RP. We are still in the early stages of development, and our founding story will be molded by those who decide to call us home. We hope that’ll be you.

ROLEPLAYING IN THE GILDED HOUSE

Each pillar may include players who see themselves differently than the listed RP focus. You might find heavy RPers in the Obsidian Order, or light RPers in House Kimura. Ultimately, we want to support your desired RP journey.

You’ve probably seen it multiple times in various advertisements, but what is “Community” and what does it really mean? That’s a question everyone should ask as they look to become a part of any guild or company. For GH-RP, community means a group of people who work together towards a common goal. Though they may have different backgrounds or interests, they embrace a similar culture and thrive as one. We are not cultists, or looking to blow up one person’s ego. We enjoy comradery, and the free expression of ideas.

LEADERSHIP

Our leadership has over 30 years experience - collectively, in running gaming communities. Our community lead has built, grown, and led communities up to 300 members strong. They have also taken on roleplay, and gaming community roles as Administrators, Ambassadors, and Moderators. Our Co-Leads have each run their own guilds, and have worked together over decades. They have experience in community leadership and management.

But experience alone, doesn’t guarantee success. Our leaders rely on one another, and our membership to shape the community, and direction of the guild. Big decisions, including setting launch goals, will be decided by collaborating with our membership.

COMMUNITY BUILDING

Our community building goals are our long term aspirations. While we may achieve them in the short term, the idea is to achieve these and maintain them throughout the lifecycle of GH-RP.

GAMEPLAY OBJECTIVES

Our gameplay objectives may cross over and expand on our community goals, and are more likely to change overtime. They are inherently short-term focused, and as our community grows or evolves, they too will shift.

Our Alpha 2 goals are separate from our gameplay objectives. In A2, we want to better understand the game and areas of the world we may want to settle in.
